To learn more about the world of cubing and how its fans compete worldwide, go to the World Cube Association’s website. The World Cube Association is the governing body of competitions for all things related to “twisty puzzles” (operated by turning/twisting groups of pieces). Here, you can search for events taking place across the globe every single week. There is always a high demand for competitions, as avid/diehard cubers scramble to sign up for both local and worldwide competitions before spots quickly fill up. You can search by country or state to find an event near you. If you’ve never attended a competition before, I would highly recommend attending one, even if you don’t compete—It’s a great way to see what these events are like.

You can find the standard, most recognizable cube (the 3x3x3) at nearly every popular convenience store. There are also several websites dedicated to cubing and enhancing the common cuber’s experience. They carry everything from high send, super fast cubes to unique shapes/puzzle types to accessories like lubricants, tools and storage bag.
