My name is Logan Liu. I’m currently a senior at Highland Park High School (Illinois). My speedcubing journey started with the 3x3 cube, which I first solved in sixth grade during a school lunch break. I attended my first official competition as an eighth grader and have been attending events all across the country while adding new puzzles along the way.

Beyond cubing, I spend most of my time running as a cross country and track athlete. I also enjoy photography/videography, where I create multimedia content for my high school as well as aspiring/committed NCAA recruits.

I’m an avid math enjoyer with a deep interest in statistics and probability, and occasionally, a poker connoisseur! This past year, I participated in the M3 Math Modeling Challenge and the Wharton Moneyball Academy — two contests/programs deeply rooted in statistical thinking and data analytics.

I also love to try new things. I recently learned how to slalom ski in the water, and I hope to learn a third language. Regardless of the challenge I’m faced with, I always dare to do my best. I hope you are excited to learn about and/or follow me on my cubing journey throughout the years! :)
